The Silence Is Broken

Eugene Robinson of The Washington Post claims that President Obama should be “President of Everything”. Didn’t GWB try that not so long ago? Also, The London Times ponders: “Why Europeans were so ready to assume that Obama was the paragon of that ‘good America’ is probably more a psychological than a political question.”   The Sibyl has a few words to say about that…..

Welcome to The Sibyl Speaks, a site that pulls the elaborately spun lies of the Mainstream Media out of the shadows and into the sunlight.  Our format is simple:  First, we offer the The Riddle, followed by a modern translation.  Finally comes the source material that motivated the riddle.  The only thing left is your comments.  I hope you enjoy visiting The Sibyl and look forward to your participation, but first – a few words from The Sibyl herself:

"THE SIBYL", FRANCESCO UBERTINI, C.1525

"THE SIBYL", FRANCESCO UBERTINI, C.1525

The Sibyl, with frenzied mouth uttering things not to be laughed at, unadorned and unperfumed, yet reaches to a thousand years with her voice by aid of the gods”

“After more than two thousand years of silent slumber, I have awakened to raise my voice; thus breaking centuries of silence.  Now, as then, I shall disseminate a message of truth behind personal or political agenda, predict the future and provide comfort in times of strife.  I may be turned to in times of crisis, to warn you of everything from medical and plagues to wars and invasions.

Today, I offer but two riddles whose answers lie within the deepest recesses of your souls, and this single clue to where all such answers may be found: “Know that if you can’t find me within yourself, you will never find me without yourself, for behold:  I have been with you from the beginning, and I am that which shall be attained at the end of life’s desire”

Thus spake the Sibyl, Thus shall it come to pass

Riddle One: The President of Everything

THE RIDDLE:  ”Beware of those who take their nourishment in the depths of the underworld.  They shall attempt to bring their banquet onto the Kingdom of Man inviting all to consume their toxic repast.  Heed this warning:  When the eyes and ears are enchanted by the Siren’s song, the nose alone is to be trusted.  Thus spake The Sibyl, thus shall it come to pass”

THE TRANSLATION:  “The bottom-feeders in the MSM are whipping up yet another pile of bullshit to force-feed the public, claiming that it’s really a Happy Meal.  This will make the abuse of Executive Power by GWB seem like a walk in the park.  Smell it coming.”

THE SOURCE:  According to Eugene Robinson of the Washington Post, “All Barack Obama wanted was to be president. He may have to become an auto executive, a banker, a mortgage broker and who knows what else before this crisis is done.“  President Barack Obama must set the parameters of a new presidential role that he did not seek but cannot avoid: managing the big chunks of the private-sector economy that are now more accurately described as semi-private at best. i-wonPresident Obama will release $4 billion more in loans to keep GM afloat, an Obama official and a company official confirm. But the automaker already was expecting that money as part of a commitment the Bush administration made in December.  The more important question is whether GM and Chrysler can deliver viability plans to the Obama administration and convince it that they can survive long term and deserve more government cash down the road.

Sounds good in theory, but wasn’t the auto industry supposed to show us a plan of how they intend to use these new tax dollars before the White House releases them?   So, let me get this straight:  Eugene Robinson wants Barack Obama to be President of Everything.  Isn’t that the same as being a King? Oh yeah, that’s right:  -  he won!

Riddle Two:  The Blind Shall See (but only from afar)

THE RIDDLE:  “What source, this blinding flash of light?  A second it lasts, and then as quickly, disappears.  It reaches the farthest shores; then retracts as quickly as it came.  Those farthest have their vision restored while those nearest bathe in this false and blinding light, so to hide the remnants of their breakfast. Thus spake The Sibyl, thus shall it come to pass

THE TRANSLATION:  People across the pond are already beginning to see through the Obama-phenomena.  It is only American citizens who need to continue believing the hype, most likely because we don’t like seeing egg on our face.

haloeffectTHE SOURCE: The London Times asks “Should We Believe in Barack? They go on to suggest: “Why Europeans were so ready to assume that Obama was the paragon of that ‘good America’ is probably more a psychological than a political question.  Presumably, the fact that he is black (well, actually biracial) played a role, but it could not have done so had Europeans not been ready — even eager, perhaps, to the point of approaching Stockholm syndrome — to love America again.“  READ ARTICLE

The Sibyl will return in a couple of days, when her muse’s computer comes back from the Mac ward after having minor surgery. Until then, be well.

You are a racist and a bigot. You think that [Blogger] is a black person, she is not. She ridicules the President’s African roots. She posts racist comments from Uncle Toms like Manning that want blacks in America to be on the bottom again. Only whites call Obama the Messiah. Now [Blogger] called Obama gay,anti-Gay ,Muslim,Marxist Christian,Arab, too black, not black. She made fun of his Grandmother, his African Culture, his white Grandmother’s death. What you bigots are trying to do is cause a race riot so white racist bigots can take over .I will monitor your site.

      Well Kid,
I have to say you got my attention.
As a matter of fact, i wrote a post for you (see:”The Little Boy Who Cried Racist”)
If you can follow the directives in that post and submit a comment that pertains to the subject, then your voice will be heard. Otherwise, you’re fucked.

Geez, are you serious?? I stumbled across this site and actually found the commentary worth reading. Nowhere did I pick up on any inference to bigotry and potential race riots. Unless, of course, it’s folks like you trying to incite them with offensive comments. You’re gonna monitor the site? Okay, guess I will, too. Might be entertaining to post a rejoinder to every ignorant comment you make.

Either he’s not capable of monitoring anything (especially his mouth) or he’s upset that I wrote “The Little Boy Who Cried Racist” in response to his gibberish.

Either way, you can see the way things will be going in Obama’s Post Racial America.

        Thanks for posting
