Obama Honeymoon Hits the Skids, “Kool AId Kidz” to the rescue?

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 30% of the nation’s voters now Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Thirty-eight percent (38%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of –8. The President’s Approval Index rating has fallen six points since release of a disappointing jobs report last week (see trends).

So Goes Ohio, So Goes the Nation?

In Ohio, there’s a different story.  According to Quinnipac’s poll in Ohio this morning, Obama’s approval rating in Ohio has dropped to 49%

The POTUS seems to be undaunted, and has decided to try to convince us any way he can to support his Healthcare Reform campaign by continuing to use the same scare tactics as President George W. Bush.

The White House announced today that they’re planning a Swine Flu Summit in an effort to shore up any last minute support they can from the Kool Aid Kidz while they last.

You know what that means, folks – for the rest of the Summer, we can expect scary ads, phony health warnings, and every last trick in the book that a snake oil salesman can come up with once the locals figured out he was full of shit all along.
